"It's difficult to quantify what my experience and what it has meant to me. When I started the program with EIC, I did so because I needed an escape from the imminent collapse of my marriage. Right away I discovered a friendly and caring atmosphere which made me feel at home. Not only were the sessions informative and fun, but the staff was more than accommodating. Everyone was so welcoming that I looked forward all week to the few hours I would spend with my new-found friends. My experience with EIC not only got me through some very difficult days, but also gave me the confidence I needed to regain the flow of creativity in my life. Since taking the program, I have returned to writing and recording music, and have started work on an album project. I have also been commissioned to write songs for an independent film being produced in Metro Detroit, as well as being cast to play a supportive role in the movie. My life has finally come alive again creatively, and I owe a debt of gratitude to these guys for the role they have played in enabling me to begin this new journey on the path of life!"
